Chasing light in wild places

I'm Samantha, and I've always loved taking pictures. It's been special to me for as long as I can remember — most of the time I'm the one people call the family photographer, because I've always got a camera out at family events.

That habit followed me everywhere else, too. A lot of these frames were made from the road: an old homestead going back to the grass, fog caught on a pine ridge, a storm shelf lighting up at sundown. If the light does something, I stop for it.
